My 4 Best Beauty Tips, From Around the Globe 2017
If you are looking for some changes this year in your beauty routine, I have a few suggestions and tips I have received while traveling around the world this year. My top 4 tips that are now my favorite go-tos that I have learned along the way from friends from various cultures are:
I first fell in love with rose tea while I was in China and just about every person I met, they were drinking some type of flower tea! I remember one of my Chinese friend's made a cup one day and it smelled so good. At the grocery stores, they were easily available in Beijing and that was when I started to experiment with rose water and noticed the great benefits it can do for your skin! Maybe I got a little too carried away and was not only drinking rose water but bathing with it too.
- It reduces acne when using as an ingredient in a facial cleanser or as a face toner.
- Softens, refreshes, and relieves dry skin after bathing with it.
- An aromatherapy to help relax you.
Not only rose water, but other herbal teas have great benefits for your skin and more!
2. Turmeric
A long used Indian beauty secret but luckily, I did not have to go all the way there to learn more about this awesome root. I received turmeric roots from a friend to grow in my garden while I was living in Panama and mainly used the plant in curry dishes. After awhile, I had grown so many roots I researched other ways to use them and found multiple benefits for it such as hair removal, facial masks for acne/anti-aging, and more!
3. Meditation
I have been practicing yoga for years and it inspired my journey to discover the benefits of meditation due to both promoting the goal of stress relief. In fact, it was awesome to see where these practices originated when I visited some Buddhist temples in China. They brought everything together with aromatherapy from incenses, meditation rooms, and areas to perform yoga sun salutations. You could even hear the "Ohm" everywhere you went, which added to the peacefulness of the place. From experience, keeping up with meditation is important to reap the positive impact on your health and inner beauty, such as:

4) Choose Natural
One aspect of life that I noticed while on my adventures around the world is the use of natural, fresh options rather than chemically-made and processed ones that are more popular in America. Also, all of these contribute to your overall beauty on the inside and out. So eating fresher foods, choosing products with natural ingredients, and even enjoying time in nature help to achieve a more beautiful you. In addition, going make-up free some days will be good for your skin because you are decreasing your exposure to chemicals too.
